Corrections

Point to the statement, calculation or link that needs attention, with enough context to reproduce the problem.

Describe the issue

Name the page and the specific passage or control. For a numerical result, include the smallest non-personal set of values that reproduces it. For a broken link, include the page you started from and the destination you expected.

Distinguish an error from a preference where possible. A spelling mistake, a missing assumption and an unsupported factual statement require different changes. Each is worth reporting clearly; a broad description can make an otherwise simple issue harder to locate.

Add useful support

If your concern involves a source, link to the public record and identify the relevant passage. A source does not need to agree with every part of a guide to raise a valid question about one claim.

Avoid copying a whole article, sending private correspondence or including personal health and account information. The report should contain only what is needed to understand the page-related issue.

What a receipt means

A receipt confirms acceptance of the message, not acceptance of the proposed correction. A change should follow the issue actually established and keep the related explanation, tool and summary consistent.

Use the contact form below the linked Contact page. If submission fails, retain the message and retry rather than assuming it was delivered.
