Saved choices

Choose what this browser remembers and understand the difference between display preferences, reading choices and offline copies.

Display preferences

ada does not run Google tags, advertising cookies or third-party audience tracking. The cookie-choice control concerns whether the browser remembers the day or night display preference. Accept saves that preference; Reject removes the saved theme while allowing the current display to change.

The browser remembers the preference decision itself so that the choice does not need to be repeated on every page. Closing the banner dismisses it for the current browser session; it is not the same action as accepting a remembered theme.

Reading choices

Saving a weekly selection, choosing a hub poll response or selecting article feedback can store a small record on this device. These features do not create an ada account or a personal reading history that is sent to an advertising service.

The theme choice does not erase these separately requested actions. To remove all of them, use the browser's site-data controls for ada. On a shared device, remember that another person using the same browser profile may see saved choices.

Offline copies

The installed app can keep eligible pages and files for offline access. These copies are separate from the display preference. Clearing site data removes cached copies; using the site again may create new copies as the app makes content available offline.

An offline copy is not a live availability or freshness check. Reconnect and open the original page when current content matters. The status page can check whether the relevant online features respond.

Change your choice

Open Cookie choices from the footer to review the display setting. Use the browser's own site-data settings when you want to remove saved selections and offline files as well.

If a control does not work as described, report the page and the action you attempted. Do not send browser exports, account information or other private device data.
