Privacy
See which actions stay on your device, which send a request, and how to contact ada without providing personal details.
Reading and search
You do not need an ada account to read the site. Page search uses search files served by ada. Typing into a search box is not a subscription and does not authorise advertising or audience profiling.
Ask sends the question needed to match it to relevant material. Availability depends on the service currently connected. Do not enter private documents, personal health details, passwords or information about another person into a general question field.
On this device
Display preferences, saved weekly selections and hub poll choices can remain in the current browser. Article controls can also remember a choice locally so that their selected state is understandable when you return.
These records are not an account and are not a substitute for secure private storage. Use the browser's site-data settings to remove them. Clearing site data can also remove offline reading files and display settings.
Contact messages
The contact form asks for a topic, an optional ada page and a message. It does not ask for a name, email address or attachment. Your message is stored for review only when the form confirms acceptance. A failed request is not presented as a delivered message.
Messages are kept in the active inbox for up to 14 days and then removed automatically. Restricted recovery copies may outlast deletion from that inbox. The form is not connected to an AI writing service and does not publish messages. Do not include personal or confidential information; there is no personal email-reply channel.
Questions and requests
For a privacy concern, identify the feature and the question without sending sensitive material. If you have a message receipt, include that reference rather than repeating private content. A receipt is not a public link to the message.
The rights and procedures available to you can depend on the applicable law and the information involved. This notice does not waive mandatory rights. Use the contact route to raise the issue; do not assume that a request has been completed merely because it was submitted.
